Boundaries are generally taken advantage of when training Ranged or Magic to avoid the player from taking unnecessary combat damage. Members may also use a similar trick with the halberd; it can attack up to two squares away, instead of the normal one permitted by regular melee weapons. There is a ladder you can only see if you are wearing the ring of visibility, which is for the Desert Treasure quest. If you take the ring off, you cannot see the ladder, and when you try to walk to where the ladder was, you will not go anywhere.
