* The orange musical notes symbolize that Simon loves singing.
* The green apple symbolizes that Anthony loves food.
* The red tambourine symbolizes that Lahcy loves music.
* The yellow bow symbolizes that Emma loves bows. While Simon and Anthony's symbols shown in this transition are with their respective colors, Emma and Lachy's are reversed. Some fans saw this as a subtle reference to Lachy loving Emma, but in early 2014 no one but close friends knew of their relationship, and was just done so the yellow bow wouldn't blend into the yellow background (the green apple and orange notes would have blended in as well to some degree, making Lachy's the only one it could be switched with).
