- Ralph reflects on the disorder that has overtaken the island. Piggy's glasses are stolen and possibly broken, and Piggy is dead. Samneric are stolen by Jack and made into savages. In effect, Ralph is the only sane one left on the island. All have died or become savages. Ralph goes to the clearing to discover the Lord of the Flies and the spot that Simon passed out on. He is disgusted by the site and breaks the skull into two pieces, now grinning at the sky.

Yuuri takes a moment to reflect on why he was chosen to become maou. Conrad is worried about Hyscliff, as he seemed to be upper class and practiced with a sword. While preparing for a formal dance, Conrad helps Yuuri with his contact lens, which, to a half sleeping Wolfram sounds far more inappropriate than it is. Yuuri is nearly hit with a book in Wolfram's rage, which turns out to be an elaborated version of Günter's diary.

- The Hosts have shocked and disgusted faces as they look at the shabby house of the Fujiokas. Haruhi, with a dirty face, opens the door for them with a slightly pained expression. Inside, everything is broken. Haruhi prepares tea for them as they sit around a small round table. The Hosts look at the tea Haruhi serves in either bowls or cups and Haruhi apologizes for not having tea cups. She then goes to the cupboard to get the “deluxe” sushi she found in a normal commoner supermarket (which means it isn't really “deluxe”). Meanwhile, Haruhi is just returning from the supermarket.

Hyodo and his friends volunteer Koyuki for all of the events. Later on, Koyuki and Saku watch Beck perform a show. Saku comments on the skills of each band member, but admits that the drummer isn't very good. After the show, the band members talk about their finances. They need more fans to support them or they won't be able to keep performing together.
