EMP converter is a weapon mod in Deus Ex: Invisible War. When this weapon mod is installed on a weapon, the weapon in question will do EMP damage in every shot, similar to the Mag Rail's alternate fire and the attacks of light spider bots. EMP converter can prove useful on any weapon it can be installed on, although it is best used on either the SMG and pistol for their high rate of fire, or the sniper rifle and boltcaster for their high range capabilities which are very useful against slow, nearsighted bots.
