Henry Ross had an affair with author John Cheever, who wrote him a series of letters which were found after his cabin burnt down. Henry Ross was portrayed by Warren Frost, whose first appearance was in “The Cheever Letters”. He and Mrs. Ross formed the Susan Ross Foundation to honor their late daughter. They make George a member of the Board of Directors, much to George’s dismay. In “The Wizard”, Susan's parents admitted that they blamed George for Susan's death when they accompanied him to the Hamptons. In "The Finale, Part 2," He and Mrs. Ross attended the trial of Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in Latham County. After Dr. Wexler mentioned about Susan's death, Henry accused George of being a murderer while Mrs. Ross claimed that George knew the envelopes she licked were toxic. While the jury was deciding the verdict, Henry was seen purchasing a gun, possibly to kill George. He and Mrs. Ross were among those thrilled that George, Jerry, Elaine, and Kramer were found guilty.
