Rows upon rows of books, scrolls, and parchments! Our benefactor had given us an unusual treat in letting us stop by the Great Library of Throal! It was a branch of the Great Library, but still... the wealth within their vaults was greater than any treasure in any lost kaer in all of Barsaive. I spent hours poring over the tomes there. I did not know that the Satirical History of the Theran Empire as jotted by the pen of Hrogg the Educated Slave had a second volume. Or that there was an alternate ending to the dwarf playwright Melchior's esteemed play "The Harvest." Such volumes and volumes of words, beautiful words! The time did pass by so quickly. I felt that I had scarcely begun to dig into the goldmine when it was already dinnertime.

The penmanship of some of the great masters is amazing, especially when you compare the art of the iconic dwarven runes to the flowing text of the elven Sperethial. Each has their own beauty personified in the symbols of language. However, many of the various adventurer journals were poorly and hastily written. I took the liberty of correcting some of the more egregious errors. I'm sure the Library will appreciate my astute editorial of the more neglected works. Oh, and there was some task that our benefactor and Merrox had us do. Nonsense about stolen books and such. It is a shame that the task cut my experience in the Grand Library of Throal short.
