Mace Windu was a Jedi Master, a general during the Clone Wars, and a senior member of the Jedi Council. He was one of the masters assigned in hunting down and destroying Darth Wraddiqus. He attempted to arrest Chancellor Palpatine when Anakin Skywalker informed him that he was Darth Sidious, the Dark Lord of the Sith. Master Windu went along with Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, and Saesee Tiin to arrest the Chancellor. The Chancellor drew out his lightsaber and killed Kolar. He then attacked Saesee Tiin. After a while, with more effort, Kit Fisto was knocked out. Mace and Palpatine dueled for a while until Mace gained the upper hand and cornered the Chancellor. They met Kit Fisto and Saesee Tiin, both of whom survived the fateful duel.
