- Skull Squadron was reformed or recreated as a Veritech squadron and part of the Robotech Defense Force under the auspice of the United Earth Government. Fokker was given command of the squadron and it was equipped with VF-1 Valkyries.
- Skull Squadron was a squadron of elite shadow stormtroopers that were under the command of Emperor's Shadow Guard Major Ace Malfoy. They were on many missions with him, and sometimes other Shadow Guards.
- Skull squadron is one of two GDI military units and taking charge of its aircraft. Four of the A-15 Orcas were from this squadron as the other four belonged to the Ghost squadron. Their headquarters is located at an Airfield where Nod forces stood their hold and started attacking the two Airfields at Langley Air Force Base. When GDI reclaimed the Airfields, the squadron reunited at this base and attacked Nod's primary garrison by destroying key structures prior to the final objective. Orcas were now deployed at Alexandria in Egypt where they suddenly destroyed two Battleships and loading cranes which are in the hands of Nod with three compounds for controlling the city's region in a dangerous Red Zone.
