| - The axe makes a good weapon until a better one is found; for some PCs that might be Big Punch, which can also be gained in Dwarftown. It actually has a higher damage potential if thrown than wielded and makes a very decent thrown weapon, though its range is not very good. Since the PC is likely to come across a lot better weapons in the game, it is perhaps not the most desirable thing to receive from the dwarven mystic.
