During the Great Galactic War, he fought in numerous battles, and learned of a famous swordsman from Harima named Miyamoto Musashi. Thinking the young swordsman would be a great asset for the Empire, he told the Minister of Intelligence to recruit him, with the consent of the Emperor. They agreed, not having much of a choice. Korsin continued to watch the progress of the young swordsman during the War, and assigned his daughter Kayala to his unit often, attempting to make Miyamoto a part of his family. He was eventually killed during the Cold War, but his plan ultimately worked.
