The Wine of Zamorak Scam or Wine of Zamorak Lure is a common scam used against low level players. The scam involves tricking a player into grabbing a Wine of Zamorak from the chaos altar north of Goblin Village without using a telegrab. The victim will then be struck by a spell of Zamorak, lowering their fighting abilites and all the Monk of Zamorak in the building will attack the victim with spells that can hit up to 8. This quite often results in death and the scammer will take the victim's items and run away. The door that was necessary to the scam was, however, removed.But due to an update by Jagex which introduced gravestones,players cannot pick up another players belongings when they die,making luring an activity done only for the fun of it
