He and his four companions ignored the orders of Kira Nerys, who had told them to plant it in the secondary plasma relay. Fortunately, the Jem'Hadar didn't discover the bomb, and the ship was destroyed. Nevertheless, Kira was upset that the team had ignored their training and instructions. This led to a heated argument between her and Rusot. When Rusot mentioned that Bronok was experienced, Garak and Kira reminded him that he should not mention their names in case someone was captured.
