| - Project Sora was a first party Nintendo developer that was initiated in 2009 by Nintendo and Sora, Ltd. The company is 72% owned by Nintendo and 28% owned by Sora, Ltd. The studios' president is Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Kirby and Super Smash Bros. who became a freelance video game designer around the beginning of the Nintendo DS's life (though now, obviously, has his own company). So far their company has or will have around 30 employees. Being a first party company, all of the games that Project Sora creates will be released on Nintendo's platforms.
