Command Master Chief Petty Officer is an E-9 rank of the UNSC Navy and is a non-commissioned officer. It is equal in rank to Sergeant Major in the UNSC Marine Corps, Command Sergeant Major in the UNSC Army, or Command Chief Master Sergeant in the UNSC Air Force. It is directly above Master Chief Petty Officer and below to Fleet/Force Master Chief Petty Officer. A CMC is a non-commissioned officer of a command or fleet, though subordinate to a Fleet/Force Master Chief.
