- The evasiveness of a character determines the abilty for an enemy to successfully peform a melee attack against a party member. Evade can be increased using some some Accessories, Spells and Skills which can raise this attribute.
- Evade is an episode of May I Have a Word where Emily correctly defined the word.
- Evade is a Amazon Skill in Diablo II.
- Level: 25Description: +0.1% base defense per pointStamina: 10Buff Duration: 90 mins.
- Evade was permanently removed from the game in the February 1st, 2007 skill update. All skills that referred to evade now use block instead. Evade was a game mechanic that could prevent attacks from hitting. It functioned identically to the block mechanic; however, evade and block were referred to separately. Certain skills had conditional triggers if an attack would be blocked, while others if it was evaded.
- Αφορά την πιθανότητα που έχει ο χαρακτήρας σας να αποφεύγει (evade) επιθέσεις από άλλους. Αυξάνεται ανάλογα με τους πόντους που έχετε στο στατιστικό Initiative.
- Evade is a combat stat of that influences a defending unit's probability of successfully avoiding a weapon-, magic-, or staff-based hit. It is a subtotal value that is used in conjunction with several other factors, such as the attacking unit's hit rate or weapon triangle effects, to determine the attacking unit's overall battle accuracy.
- Evade is a fictional statistic in Stick Ranger. Evade adds a chance that attacks which were made by enemies will simply pass through the character harmlessly, although that projectile will still hit other characters (unless they all equip LV.S Azure Crystals).
- Evade is a skill that can be used by human characters. Once trained in this skill, it is always in effect. File:Evade Pic.png
- Whenever this character is hit by an attack from a nonadjacent enemy, it can avoid the damage with a save of 11.
- Description: Chance to increase defense when in combat with an entity (Non-PVP).
- Evasion can also be referred as "dodging." Evade appears in all the God of War games except Javaground's God of War: Betrayal. Evasion can be done on any weapons except for the heavy ones like the Barbarian Hammer.
- Evade lets you perform a roll in any direction. It’s most commonly used by hybrids and anti-bomb specialists. When trying to kill the enemy runner, you can roll around him or behind and sword lunge as you exit the roll, which is generally more effective than sprinting right at him. The more common use of evade however, is to barrel roll with the bomb. The idea of the barrel roll is to grab the bomb, then an instant later press evade. You will then roll with the bomb and travel farther than you would on a normal roll. It allows you to cover a great distance in a short time with the bomb, which is invaluable. At the very least, you need to practice stopping the opponents from rolling, because it will definitely be used against you. It’s not too difficult to kill somebody mid-roll because the
- The Evade ability gives you access to the special EVADE defense level. While Evading, you are unhittable! But this comes at a cost -- each attack you dodge will burn up 10 Energon. EVADE is offensively similar to PROTECTED, since it comes with an offsetting (-20) attack bonus. Evade should otherwise be treated just like any other defense level and should only be set or reset during your own turn. EVADE is a 9 point ability and comes with an expected level of responsibility, just like other 8+ point abilities.
- Evade is an NPC-exclusive avoidance mechanic. It is triggered when an attacking mob is unable to reach its target (due to terrain limitations for example), or when the mob is running back to its original location (after having chased a player on a too long distance, for example). Its purpose is to discourage exploitation of terrain versus an enemy. When a mob is in evade mode, it becomes immune to any and all attacks and spells from every player, and will regenerate health as though it was out of combat.
- Evade is a character's chance to dodge a melee or ranged attack. It is derived from DV, Perception and Evasion. The following pseudocode describes the Evade roll in detail. It is based on stock Elona; Elona+ seems to have tweaked the equations somewhat. The Evade roll has three possible results: !hit: normal hit. !nohit: miss. !crit: critical hit.
