- Talk Like A Pirate Day! is an event that occurs every September 19th (reachable from the "Today's Event" button), and can be reached any other day via the teleporting potion in Warlic's shop. It is hosted by Captain Rhubarb. Players can also find Hippocampus somewhere on this quest, and access Rats O' War!, Trobble on the High Seas! and Captain Munch Attacks! quests.

- Talk Like a Pirate Day was an event in Club Penguin where players could meet Rockhopper. It started on September 16, 2015, and ended on September 23, 2015. The event was confirmed in issue 516 of the Club Penguin Times.
- September 19th be International Talk Like a Pirate Day, invented by Mark Summers and John Baur (or Captain Slappy and Ol' Chumbucket) of Albany, Oregon, and popularized via a column by Dave Barry. Basically, it's a day when one is supposed to talk (and dress, and act) like a pirate. Why? Because Pirates are cool, and because it's fun. Baur and Summers have written several books about how to talk like a pirate, as well as increasing one's "piratitude." Basically, the awesomest silly holiday ever invented.
- On Talk Like a Pirate Day, Pirates had a big laugh at the expense of some unsuspecting members of the EITC Black Guard. If the EITC had hoped to learn any of our Pirate secrets on this day, their plans were foiled completely! Not only were their attempts at being Pirates thwarted, the EITC ended up making a complete fool out of themselves in the process. September 19th also happens to be the birthday of Hermione Granger, leading to such things as filk singer Tom Smith's song "Hey, It's Can(n)on".
