Mandalore the Crusader was the leader of the Taungs during the Hutt War. Though the Taungs were allied with the Hutt Empire, Mandalore believed the Hutts to be grotesque creatures and only kept the alliance intact so the Taungs would be able to fight against the Republic and be remembered forever. His people's legacy was his primary concern and goal. The first known battle Mandalore participated in was the Battle of Corellia, where he and his forces retreated on orders from Gorrbag, the Hutt leader.
