- Ultraman (stylized as ULTRAMAN) is a manga written by Eiichi Shimizu and drawn by Tomohiro Shimoguchi of Linebarrels of Iron fame. Published in Monthly Hero's since the magazine's inaugural issue, it is a manga sequel of the 1966 Ultraman television series. As of 2014, the series has been collected in 4 volumes consisting of 21 chapters, with the fifth volume scheduled for release on September 5, 2014.
- During the Supergirl: Kandor storyline, Ultraman invaded the Bottle City of Kandor, posing as the city's god, Kal-El/Superman. He was opposed by Supergirl and Power Girl, who had taken up the identities of Nightwing and Flamebird.

- Ultraman is the best friend of Superman in the Antimatter Universe. He was chosen by the 5th race of iPods as seen in Stargate to be the newest protector of Earth. Under this title, he would prevent any danger from coming to his home planet. To aid him, Superman killed a dog named Krypto, which granted Ultraman the power to ignore pain. Ultraman's one weakness is to Superman, ironically his best friend. For this reason Ultraman has rounded up the rest of the Avengers to form the Justice League of America. In his spare time, Ultraman also enjoys the use of iPods.
- Ultraman is a Sci Fi Superhero television show in the Japanese Kaiju tradition, which aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) from July 17, 1966 to April 9, 1967, with a total of 39 episodes (40, counting the pre-premiere special that aired on July 10, 1966). It was created by Eiji Tsuburaya from Tsuburaya Productions, a pioneer in special effects who was responsible for bringing Godzilla to life in 1954. It is the second edition of the Ultra Franchise and the first to have an Ultraman. Not to be confused with Superman's Evil Counterpart from Earth-3.
- テレビシリーズ『ウルトラマン』第1話での出来事が現代社会において現実に起こった場合を想定する形でリメイクされた作品。また、今作の公開時に放映されていたテレビシリーズ『ウルトラマンネクサス』と同じ世界観であり、同作品とリンクする構成になっている。 それまでのイメージから大きく外れたデザインや、映像表現の難しい10m級の身長など、ウルトラマン自体の表現にも数多くの意欲的な試みがなされた。 小中和哉、長谷川圭一などの平成ウルトラシリーズメインスタッフから菊地雄一、板野一郎、松本孝弘などウルトラシリーズに馴染みの薄い人物までが幅広くスタッフ参加。CGを多く取り入れた作品になっており、クライマックスの空中戦シーン（板野サーカス）が大きな見所となった。また防衛庁の全面協力を受けており、F-15の離陸シーンなどは全て実物である。 制作の背景には『バットマン』や『スパイダーマン』が大人も楽しめる映画として成功を収めたことがあり、その日本版を狙って制作されたが、ウルトラシリーズの劇場版としては宣伝や上映館数が少なかった事も影響してか、興行収入は1億5000万円と振るわなかった。 興行成績は振るわなかったものの作品自体の評価は低くなく、DVD（2005年7月22日発売）は好セールスを記録している。
