He also has guest roles in shows such as NBC-TV's ER, the USA Network series Monk starring Tony Shaloub, NBC's Seinfeld and ABC-TV's The Drew Carey Show and Boston Legal. From 1990 to 1992, he portrayed the character of Gavin Kruger in the CBS-TV daytime soap opera series As the World Turns and also appeared in an episode of FOX's Malcolm in the Middle series in 2000 He originally intended to become a teacher, but is now both an actor and professor.
