A banishing spell reverses the effects of a conjuration spell. Any objects or effects summoned are effectively removed. One such example is Giles banishing the rabbits summoned by Anya's spell. Additionally, Giles' spell also removed the green fog and the skeletal creature also inadverdently summoned by Anya.
