The Dark Jedi Insurrection was a conflict that happened shortly before the resurgence of the Black Sun. It happened when insane Dark Jedi Korribos, hell bent on destroying the Jedi, called upon Dark Jedi in hiding all across the galaxy, including apparent Dark Jedi who participated in the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, but were placed in stasis after the battle. Knowing this, a group of Jedi who survived the Great Jedi Purge, traveled to the unknown desert planet that Korrobos had assembled his Dark Jedi legions on, for one final battle to stop the Dark Jedi from destroying the Newly Rebuilt Jedi Order and the Galaxy. The group suffered heavily losses, including many famed heroes of the Clone Wars such as Kai Darklighter, Senu Meji, and Lena Arano.
