- Sernpidal essentially belonged to the Outer Rim, but it was considered more akin to Wild Space.[1] The surface of the planet was dusty, and subterranean agri-farms were watered by aquifers. Damp ravines were occupied by slow, tough, tentacular creatures which comprised the planet's flora and fauna both.
- Sernpidal was an unimportant little planet on the edge of the Outer Rim of the galaxy, which the Yuuzhan Vong attacked in the very earliest stages of their galactic invasion. On the First Day, the Yuuzhan Vong installed a weird dovin basal thingy on the planet's surface, but things remained peaceful. Secretly, the dovin basal caused a gravitational tug on the planet's moon, pulling it out of its orbit. On the Second Day, people began noticing something was wrong, and Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Anakin Solo arrived to evacuate the population. Unfortunately, all they had to work with was the Millennium Falcon, so they couldn't ferry many people. Meanwhile, the spaceports were working too slow because of ridiculous pat-down procedures.
