Ashin's Henna is an herbal ink mixed with a very mild form of Sith Poison, designed to duplicate the appearance and 'sense' of the Cult of Shadow Tattoo. Derived from the blood of the Sith Lord Ashin Varanin, blood which contained no less than five forms of Sith Poison, Ashin's Henna was used as tattoo ink to falsify the Cult mark. A cursory inspection through the Force would reveal a Dark Side presence very similar to the form of Sith Poison used in the Cult tattoo. However, the poison had little psychological impact. As with most forms of Sith Poison, it was a biotoxin. Nevertheless, it lacked the ability to reproduce and propagate itself, and tattoo and poison would fade within days. It was also highly responsive to kolto, meaning the signs and symptoms of a recent tattoo could be dealt

It was also highly responsive to kolto, meaning the signs and symptoms of a recent tattoo could be dealt with in less than a day, without damaging the tattoo itself. It was invented by Ashin in consultation with Delana Saan and the Skull Holocron. It was used in 18 ABY by Ashin's team of Cult traitors: Asemir Lor’kora, Nova and Tsivoin Ulderis. All three had removed their Cult tattoos, and needed to pass Cult security on Arcanix in order to lay the groundwork for the Battle of Arcanix.
