| - Ryan: “Okay everyone. Korrina has a Lucario, and she can Mega Evolve it. So I need you all to find a sparring partner, and train for a rematch against her. Ryan: “Okay, now, start sparring, and I’ll walk around and see if anyone needs pointers.” Ryan: “Scatterbug, what’s wrong!?” Ryan: “Whoa! Alright Scat...er I mean Spewpa.” Pokedex: “Spewpa, the Bug Type Scatterdust Pokemon, and the evolved form of Scatterbug. Spewpa live hidden in thicket shadows. The beaks of bird Pokemon can’t even begin to scratch a Spewpa’s stalwart body. To defend themselves, Spewpa spit powder.” Ryan: “Wow.” Georgia: Yeah?

Ryan: “Okay, now, start sparring, and I’ll walk around and see if anyone needs pointers.” Ryan: “Scatterbug, what’s wrong!?” Ryan: “Whoa! Alright Scat...er I mean Spewpa.” Pokedex: “Spewpa, the Bug Type Scatterdust Pokemon, and the evolved form of Scatterbug. Spewpa live hidden in thicket shadows. The beaks of bird Pokemon can’t even begin to scratch a Spewpa’s stalwart body. To defend themselves, Spewpa spit powder.” Ryan: “Wow.” ???: Congratulations on Scatterbug evolving. Ryan: “Thanks. I’m Ryan.” Georgia: I’m Georgia. What are you doing? It seems like training. Ryan: “Yeah. Korrina, the gym leader, has a Mega Pokemon. My team just wasn’t ready for it.” Ryan (thinking): ‘Well I know Delphox may have been, but she was taken out before I could try.’ Ryan: “Are you going to try to enter the Pokemon League?” Georgia: I’m not, no. I’m just travelling challenging travellers at the moment. Though, three badges are good. Ryan: “Hey, if you’re challenging people, why not try my team out? It’ll help both of us with strategies, and help our Pokemon grow stronger?” Georgia: Why not. Your Pokemon look raring to go. What’s the rules? Ryan: “Just one. If one of us has more Pokemon than the other, we have to be fair to the other person and use the same number of Pokemon they have.” Ryan: “Okay, I have six.” Georgia: I have two on me. Shall we have a double battle? It will be a great chance for your Pokemon to work together as a team on the same battlefield. Ryan: “Alright then.” Georgia: Go, Diggersby and Hawlucha! Ryan: “Okay! Quilladin, Pin Missile!” Georgia: Hawlucha, use Dual Chop! Georgia: Diggersby, Swords Dance. Ryan: “Stop them with Leech Seed!” Ryan: “Spewpa, Tackle!” Hawlucha hits Spewpa with High Jump Kick and then jumps up. Diggersby uses Earthquake while Hawlucha is in the air. Earthquake hits Quilladin and Spewpa, causing a bit of damage, but also breaking the Leech Seed. Hawlucha lands on the battlefield next to Diggersby. Georgia: Using Leech Seed was a smart plan, but not good enough. With Swords Dance increasing Diggersby’s attack a lot, Earthquake did more damage than it normally would. How do you retaliate? How do your Pokemon work as a team? Ryan: “Okay, not sure if this’ll work, but let’s give it a try! Rollout!” Ryan: “Wow....Like I said, wasn’t really expecting that to work. Interesting.” Georgia: Wild Charge! Ryan: “Poison Powder!” Georgia: Hawlucha, use Aerial Ace! Ryan: “Quilladin, use Leech Seed. Spewpa, use String Shot. Once Leech Seed has ensnared the two Pokemon, Spewpa wraps them up with String Shot, making it harder for them to get free than before. Leech Seed takes its affect, and starts draining Hawlucha and Diggersby. Ryan (to Georgia): “How do you like that strategy?” Georgia: Hawlucha, you have to do a bit more covering. Use Iron Head! Ryan: ”Smack Hawlucha with Vine Whip!” Georgia: Diggersby, you okay? Georgia: Then use Swords Dance! Ryan: “Quilladin, use Rollout on Diggersby!” Georgia: Now, Aerial Ace! Hawlucha jumps up and hits Quilladin into the battlefield using Aerial Ace. Hawlucha stands next to Diggersby. Ryan: “Are you okay Quilladin?” Ryan: “Okay, both of you attack! String Shot and Pin Missile!” Georgia: Use Brick Break and Dual Chop! Ryan: “Now it’s just you, me, Quilladin, and Hawlucha. Pin Missile!” Georgia: Now for some head on collision. Use Iron Head! Ryan: “You want head-on collision? You’ve got it! Rollout!” Ryan: “Leech Seed!” Ryan: “Vine Whip!” Georgia: Aerial Ace! Ryan: “Wow….That battle was AWESOME!” Georgia: That was a great battle. Thanks Hawlucha. Georgia: Good luck against Korrina. Though one question, why are you collecting the badges to fight in the Kalos League? Ryan: “Dad and my brother. They did the same when he went on their journeys. I guess you could say that I’m continuing the trend or something similar.” Georgia: Okay. There’s one trainer I’d like to meet. Well, it was nice meeting you Ryan. Ryan: “Hey Georgia, hold on!” Georgia: Yeah? Ryan (Sheepish; rubbing the back if his head): “Qulladin’s a ‘walking Pokemon’, and doesn’t have a Pokeball. Can I get some help getting him to the Pokemon Center?” Georgia gives a ‘are you serious’ look to Ryan then shrugs and helps him. Narrator: After losing to Korrina, Ryan wanted to get some special training in. During the special training, Scatterbug evolved into Spewpa. Then a trainer name Georgia appeared and had a battle with Ryan. Even though Ryan lost, a lot of experience has been gained. And now, Ryan is ready to rechallenge Korrina and her Mega Lucario. What will be the outcome this time? Find out soon!
