The unnamed Paramedic attended David Platt in October 2010 when he collapsed at Weatherfield Magistrates Court while awaiting his initial hearing on a charge of the attempted murder of Graeme Proctor after he ran him down on Victoria Street. Taken to hospital, David was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy and he claimed, truthfully, that he had blacked out at the time of the crash. This was enough for the CPS to drop the case against David. The paramedic later rushed to scene in September 2011 when Carla Connor took an overdose of sleeping pills in a suicide attempt.
