Pokémon can use certain moves in Pokémon GO. Unlike other games, the Pokémon can have one ordinary move and one special move, both which cannot be changed (except if certain Pokémon evolve). All Pokémon can have either one of two ordinary and one of four special moves. No attack has a secondary effects. Type advantages and disadvantages are applied, as well as STAB. The ordinary attack deals basic damage and fills the bar meter for the special one, which inflicts more damage. The special attacks have a percentage for dealing a critical hit.
