abstract	Evan Yorkin was the son of Neville Yorkin and Xira Dawnbringer. He was named after an old Yorkin family friend who died in the Phyrexian War. He was Force-sensitive, and when he was old enough immediately entered into Jedi training. By 61 ABY, at the age of eleven, he was one of the most advanced students in his age group, and was apprenticed to Jeb Ranson, who was from Evan's own homeworld of Zuni. At the age of twelve, Evan killed a Sith trooper in the Battle of Ossus, an experience which moved him deeply. Reluctant to kill again, he immersed himself in the teachings of Master Healers Cilghal and Tekli. Eventually, he became quite good at healing, and by 66 ABY had become one of the youngest people ever to be escalated to the rank of Jedi Knight.
