W32.Ackantta@mm (also known as W32.Ackantta.A@mm) is a risk level II mass-mailing computer worm that spreads through removable media. It looks for all the contacts in the address book and once it has found, it copys itself to the attachment in one of 3 emails and sends it to all the contacts, hoping that they will open it. It also opens a backdoor and logs keystrokes, connecting to the site web1.servebbs.org so an attacker can run commands. It also logs the keystokes of the infected computer and sends them to the attacker in question. It is uncommon, but has a medium damage level. It was discovered 3/12/08 and infects all Windows operating systems. It has many other variants.
