The Road to You is the Pat Metheny Group's second live album, released in 1993, ten years after their first live release, Travels. All of the pieces were recorded live on a European tour in 1991. The songs were taken from the Bari, Pescara; Jesi and Naples, Italy; Marseilles, Paris; and Besançon, France shows, with the exception of the last track, which is a studio recording. The CD packaging contains lengths for each song, but the times are very inaccurate.[citation needed] The album won a Grammy Award in 1994 for Best Contemporary Jazz Performance.
