The Sacred Memory was a ruin which lied southwest of Big Stink, near the inlet of the Earthquake Fish Bay. It was the only evidence that once a Nezumi empire ever existed, and it was considered a sacred place among the nezumi. The stones of this ruin were covered in pictographs that depict Nezumi engaged in a number of bizarre rituals. The Rememberers believed that it was the remains of a shrine to some god or force once worshiped by the Nezumi race, but whose power and faith were lost the day Heaven fell from the sky. The pheromones of the pictograms had faded, and the message inscribed within the ruins could not be translated.
