In June 2063, Pascal Marat, the French foreign minister, one of Paladines' main political supporters and her potential political heir, was murdered by the Nationale Aktion in the so-called "AGE-Roland Garros-Attack", a bombing that also killed German ork tennis champion Paul Schneider and eight others.
