  • Cities are your sole instrument for developing natural resources and channeling them toward expansion, technological progress, and warfare. After describing how city citizens extract natural resources, we will examine how cities themselves may be developed and cultivated to increase their value and productivity.
  • Cities are where the players are. They divide players. Although players in separate cities can fully communicate with one another, they can't hit each other. For example, if player A is in Los Angeles, he cannot be hit by player B, but can still receive witty death threats. * There are 7 different cities, which include: * Los Angeles * Tokyo * New York * Toronto * Palermo * London * Moscow
  • GTA games are replete with fictional cities, many of which are based on real-life locations: * Liberty City is based on New York City in the 2D Universe, 3D Universe and HD Universe. Liberty City is the most used city so far, but each are slightly rendered in each game and Era. * Alderney is technically a separate state to Liberty City in the HD Universe, containing Alderney City (Jersey City and Newark). * San Andreas in GTA 1 is based on San Francisco. San Andreas in GTA San Andreas is an entire state comprised of three major cities: Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). During GTA V, San Andreas is also a state, made up of Los Santos (Los Angeles) and the incorporated cities of Davis (Compton), Del Perro (Santa Monica) and Rockford
  • There are many locations on Rubi-Ka where people live and do their daily activities. Most of these cities can be reached by whom-pah or the Grid network. There are five different types of cities and town in Rubi-Ka at this time:
  • Cities in WHILS are places where one gets assigned to a quest. Several cities currently exist in WHILS: Bamboo Hut, Sleepy Town, Swampy Town, Sand City, and Blue Oasis. Sleepy Town has a tree that gives you random items, and Sand City has a dueling arena, along with the first available attractant. Blue Oasis has a trinket shop available to players with fames 25 or higher. Each city has a different shop, with the exception of the Bamboo Hut, which isn't really a city. A city will have its own territory, in a different biome each, and will have a variety of predators.
  • Cities are all over Ersarn the usual towns and villages but serve the same basic purpose only better. They will have places to rest, shops for items, clothing, weapons. They will usually be part of major storylines as opposed to subquests that you will find in villages. Cities are sometimes more expensive than villages and towns in terms of items but they are superior in that they have nearly everything. For example if a player wanted materials for a forge he would have to go to a few towns and many villages depending on the forge. He could probably get all the items from a city. Also you will not save much by this method unless you by en masse ,i.e. a lot, because the prices only vary slightly. A noob player may even effectively loose money (not save) because some items are cheaper in cit
  • Cites are large permanent human settlements populated by many buildings and people. Over half of all people on Earth live in or near cities. Because of the viral nature of the zombie condition, the dense population of cities makes them incredibly dangerous. Cities are usually the first areas the infestation is prominent, and the last to be reclaimed, should a movement to retake territory be undertaken. Cities are where the most zombies are, but they are also where the majority of civilization's supplies are kept (though without society's commercial infrastructure to produce them, this becomes a finite number in a zombie apocalypse).

Whilst not featured in any game, it is mentioned in GTA III, GTA San Andreas, GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA IV and GTA V; and is the setting for Manhunt. * Cottonmouth in Manhunt 2 is likely based on Tampa, FL and has various references to other GTA Cities. * Bullworth is the setting for Bully. Has various references to the GTA Series. One for example, on television in GTA IV. Situated in New England. * Capital City is a city mentioned in the miles traveled stats of GTA IV. It is possibly based on Washington, D.C. (United States Capital) or Albany (New York's Capital).

Looting will take place immediately since law enforcement and the military will have been overrun. Panic may lead to banditry, massive traffic jams, and the general breakdown of law and order. As such the earlier one can leave a city, the safer one will generally be. However, with thousands (perhaps millions, depending on the city) of people sharing the same notion, cities can quickly become death traps with no viable escape until the population thins. If the city is being used to gather refugees this may become a problem as this is a likely scenario to play out. considering all this, retaking the city would become a great hazard only achieved through strict combat doctrine and enough ammunition. A prepared city can be fortified with walls, fences and other terrain features like rivers or mountains. See Also * Terrain and Zombie Survival * Cities in an undead world

  • There are many locations on Rubi-Ka where people live and do their daily activities. Most of these cities can be reached by whom-pah or the Grid network. There are five different types of cities and town in Rubi-Ka at this time: * Clan Cities - These cities are under the direct control of the Council of Truth. They are inhabited by Clan Members, who are defended by Clan guards. Omni-Tek members can go into a Clan City, but they are not welcome and will often be fired upon by the clan guards. Neutrals are usually free to come and go as they please, with notable exceptions, Both Neutrals and Omni cannot shop, insure or take missions there. * Omni-Tek Cities - These cities are owned and operated by the Omni-Tek Corporation. Omni-Tek Employees inhabit them, and Omni-Tek Armed Forces patrol them. Clan members can go into an Omni city, but are not welcome and will be fired upon. Neutrals are welcome to come and go as they please. Both Clan and Neutrals cannot shop, insure, or take missions there. * Neutral Cities - Neutral cities are most often cities that don't fit into the above categories. Founded for varies reasons, neutral cities welcome all, and all can shop, insure, and take missions there. * Ruins - Once one of the above three types, these cities, towns, or outposts have been destroyed or ruined either by the war, or by the local wildlife. They have either been deserted, or it's inhabitants killed. In many cases, the local wildlife have moved in, making this place a dangerous area. * Organization Cities - Created by the ICC privitization of urban areas, Organizational cities are affiliated with the side of the Organization that owns the city. Only a member of that org can use the guild hall and reap all the benefits, though anyone with Alien Invasion can use it's shop.
