As a Jedi, Prava learned quickly, and was soon recognized as a powerful and cunning general during the Clone Wars. However, after a time he began to lose faith in the Jedi ways. Only days later, Order 66 was issued. He was presumed dead, while in fact he had fled, with the help of his friend Senator Fid Uci'a, to the planet Placatus, where he stayed in exile for many years. The gentle atmosphere of the planet revived his trust in the Light side of the Force. Hatred was once again implanted in him, however, when the planet was attacked by an Imperial fleet. Soon after, the planet in ruins, he discovered Darth Improcerus, who he took as his apprentice. For himself he bestowed the new name of Darth Erebus.

After a decade of Darth Improcerus's training, the pair migrated to the planet Naxion, where Erebus believed a powerful artifact to be located at. He obtained it, but after an ambush that pitted him and Improcerus against a tsunami of attackers, was forced to flee the planet. They arrived at Chromovon, where Improcerus's training continued, until they once again traveled away, this time landing on the planet Nigreosis. Again, this trip was inspired by clues there of another Sith artifact. They stayed there for months, desperately searching for the artifact. Growing weary of searching and Erebus's neglect of teaching him, Darth Improcerus attacked his master, and they dueled ferociously. The duel resulted in the destruction of a large quantity of Nigreosis's underground chambers, the death of the current ρμάσleες, and the disappearance of Erebus through a time portal created with the Sword of Aetastero. It is unknown when he was transported to, if he survived the transportation, or if the portal worked at all. He appeared in a vision of Darth Improcerus's before the latter's battle with Nakullma.
