The Spanish Tragedy is an Elizabethan play written by Thomas Kyd. In The Dream-Leech, it is compared, plotwise, to The King In Yellow. The plot contains many murders and a play-within-a-play (leading some to suggest Kyd wrote a version of Hamlet) as well as a personification of Revenge.
