He has been a TV presenter and a political columnist. Rosen is a friend and fan of Moon Man and has worked with the rapper on occasion. He once recorded a cover of "Notorious KKK".

- In 2009, a pooper by the name of Insector made the very first Michael Rosen YTP titled "Youtube Poop recites a bedtime story for the kids", made from Michael's appearance on the British children's TV channel Cbeebies. Not long after that, Insector and other poopers like ImperialLobster, KatanaSoul, MechaWeegee91 and cs188 began making YTPs of Michael's first collection of performances from the artificedesign channel. To this day all you have to type into YouTube is "Rosen" to bring up poops.
- Rosen recently gained some notoriety in the Internet as a subject of a YouTube Poop (YTP) series involving his videos being spliced to make it seem like he's saying something else, i.e. profanities, absurd stories, or other adult references. While he did somewhat object to it, his reaction to the parodies was mostly positive if not ambivalent, commending on the poopers' creativity. He did also agree to a YTPer's comment in an email, regarding parents being lax on their children's surfing habits.
