Ptychohyla zophodes (common name: gloomy mountain stream frog) is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is endemic to the Atlantic slopes of northern Oaxaca, Mexico. Before being described as a new species in 2000, it was mixed with Ptychohyla leonhardschultzei. Its natural habitats are cloud forests and lower montane rainforests. It typically occurs in vegetation close to streams. It is threatened by habitat loss and chytridiomycosis.
