For those that are unaware, before Mega Man Three, Mega Man could not duck, crawl, slide or fly. After Mega Man 3, Mega Man couldn't duck, crawl or fly. The Author, noticing how ridiculous it was to give your robot the ability to slide, but not duck, decided to ridicule this fact in the comic through Mega Man refusing to do that "goddamn slide!"
