One day while on a field trip to Kingsley Perfume and Chemical Factory which is owned by one of Harry's father's friends, millionaire Roderick Kingsley.However during the trip a small spider that crawls out of a laboratory bites Peter who falls into a coma, the scene then cuts to Kinsgley shouting at some scientists for letting a spider accidentally be douced by the super soldier formula however one of the scientists tells him that they deduced that the formula could have side effects on Peter Kinglsey then tells him to tell him which ones are expected.

The scene then cuts to Peter's Home one week later where he is seen resting in his bed looking at a spider climbing on a wall after this he starts looking at a mirror and sees that his muscles are much more developed than what they where before to his amazement.After this when Peter is walking to the school he is distracted when he notices Gwen walking in front of him.He builds up the courage to talk to her just when she crosses the street something he decides to do as well when suddenly a car almost runs over him if he didn't jump to the wall next to him like a spider.
