Necromancer Istani armor is a standard armor art for necromancers, available in the Nightfall campaign. Newly-created necromancers in Nightfall begin with this armor. This armor is made of smooth black leather with some scaly elements. The skin is heavily shaded, with pale tattoos, in the areas where it meets the edges of the armor. This effect is most noticeable on the naturally pale-skinned characters. A rather distinguishing feature of this armor is the pair of bat wings protruding from the back.

abstract	Necromancer Istani armor is a standard armor art for necromancers, available in the Nightfall campaign. Newly-created necromancers in Nightfall begin with this armor. This armor is made of smooth black leather with some scaly elements. The skin is heavily shaded, with pale tattoos, in the areas where it meets the edges of the armor. This effect is most noticeable on the naturally pale-skinned characters. A rather distinguishing feature of this armor is the pair of bat wings protruding from the back. The facial scar pattern appears as a few stripes of paint on the face. The darker stripes are normally dyable, while the white ones will only change color when dyed green or black. The white paint is light enough to blend invisibly with paler skintones. This and Norn sets are the only armors (save the Male/Female mixup between Canthan and Elite Canthan armors) where the Male and Female scars are quite different from each other.
