His father, Teff Kavillian left their home and became a Fleet Admiral, and Ace later joined him. When Teff's cruiser crashed on the misty world of Vassek, Teff was killed, but Ace still led a search and rescue team, but didn't even find his father's body. Ace continued to serve in the Republic Navy, as his ancestors did before him. The Kavillians' are a family who have been part of armies and armadas for generations. He soon became a fighter ace, and gained respect among both the new clone cadets, and the veteran clone pilots. Ace made some friends when he was stationed on a Venator-class Star Destroyer called the Star of the Senate, but he was transferred to a ground base on Coruscant. Ace loved large citywide planets such as Coruscant, but he missed his friends. Soon, the Battle of Coruscant started, and Ace shot down 147 vulture droids. He was a perfect ace, and got to escort many important Senators, and got to meet them to. Ace also got to meet clone commander Fox. He was later transferred to Kashyyyk, the Wookiee homeworld. The planet was under attack, and Ace managed to destroy two of the CIS frigates, along with 203 vultures. Soon, he got Order 66. Ace didn't know what it meant, so he continued shooting vultures. Then, he saw a squad of clone V-wings shoot down a Jedi starfighter, and then he knew what it meant. After that, Ace was part of the Imperial Navy, being the rank of 2nd lieutenant. Ace met many new non-clone recruits as well as clones from other templates than Jango at the Academy of Carida. Ace also got to help train them. Many grew to respect Ace. He was invited to join Black Eight Squadron by Captain Juno Eclipse, who was a little younger than him. Ace refused, sense he preferred to work alone. Later, he was transferred to the Death Star. Ace didn't fly his TIE Interceptor once when he was stationed there. He spent his free time at a cantina on Level 84. Shortly before the Death Star's destruction, Ace escorted General Veers's shuttle, so he wasn't present at the conflict that doomed the station. Much, much, much later, he served the Confederation of Free Planets as a pilot in the Confederate Navy.
