Mrs Tillotson was a customer in Alf Roberts's Corner Shop in September 1981 when in response to an enquiry after her son, Bob, he was told he was back in prison after breaking into a pornographic bookshop during the night. When the owner turned up in the morning, he found Bob still engrossed in the stock. Two months later she turned up in the shop hoping for a promised hair appointment from Audrey Potter, only to be told by Deirdre Langton that she'd had to nip out. In truth, Audrey was busy drinking with Alf in the Rovers.
