- Anhur is the chaotic god of the Wizard pantheon.
- Anhur (pronounced an-hur), also known as Rumathep, Ramathant in Thay, and Ramatep in Unther, is a wise and peace-loving deity. He remains ever vigilant in his role of protecting Mulhorand from evil, but still finds the time to appreciate those he defends.

- Anhur was a male who was a field commander in the Republic Military during the Galactic War. During the invasion of Belsavis, Anhur was the chief of security at the Prison Geothermal Collectors in the High Security Section and led a contingent of soldiers and Jedi in defending the generators, but was killed in an Imperial assault.

Anhur did not believe the message to be genuine—as he would later claim—and refused to return in order to end his long feud with Amurru. The next news he heard was that Ra had been slain by the hands of the Tau'ri which he heard from some of the escaping personal guards of Ra that managed to get away. - Anhur is the 'birthplace' of humans in the Tri-System. Natives are known as Anhurans. It is said to be the cradle of humanity. Humans or humanoids have lived there for several thousands of years. The last few, perhaps three thousand years ago had seen serious history in the development of technology. The rise of space travel began some two thousand years before.
- In early Egyptian mythology, Anhur (also spelled Onuris, Onouris, An-Her, Anhuret, Han-Her, Inhert) was originally a foreign god of war, who started being worshipped in the Egyptian area of Abydos, and particularly in Thinis, during the 11th dynasty. Myths told that he had brought his wife, Menhit, who was his female counterpart, from Nubia, and his name reflects this—it means (one who) leads back the distant one.
