The South West Varrio Junior Mafia 13 (SWVJM13) are primarily a Mexican American criminal street gang located in Norwalk, Ca, around Curtis and King Rd, between the San Gabriel River (west), the Train Tracks (north), the 605 San Gabriel River Freeway (east) and the 105 Glenn Anderson Freeway (south). Their original name was Varrio Junior Mafia (VJM) in the early 1930s, which was a mixture of Blacks and Mexican-Americans. However, in 1968, the Latino members eventually joined the Mexican Mafia Sureno brand. This led to them changing their name to South West Varrio Junior Mafia and adopted the number 13 (South West Varrio Junior Mafia 13).

The S/W Varrio Junior Mafia 13 and the Dark Side Junior Mafia Gangster Bloods became bitter rivals, which caused a lot of bloodshed between the two. The S/W Varrio Junior Mafia 13 have seventeen cliques: Gangster Locos (GLS), Tokers (TKS), Criminals (CMS), Cut Downs (CDS), Lil Rascals (LRS), Dukes (DKS), Bagos (BGS) Termites (TMS), King Boys (KBS), Tiny Locos (TLS), Midgets (MGS), Nite Owls (NLS), Pee Wee Locos (PWLS), Dead End Winos (DEWNS), Sickos (SKS), Locas (LS), and the Tiny Diablas (TDS). The South West Varrio Junior Mafia 13, also wear the color yellow along with the Junior Mafia Crip.
