| - The Invincible Pokémon Brothers are a trio of brothers that use Fighting-type Pokemon, more specifically, the Hitmon-trio evolutions, and villains in the Pokémon series. They first appeared as the main antagonists of the episodes "Gotta Catch Ya' Later" and "Cerulean Blues". They pester Misty on challenging them to a battle. They resort to cheating, even in single battles. For example, Kim (Chan in the Japanese), the leader of the group's Hitmonchan would get beaten by Misty's Politoed, the other two brothers would illegaly send in their two other Pokemon, Hitmonlee and Hitmontop to outnumber Politoed, but ended up being defeated by Ash's Pikachu and Brock's Forretress respectively. Turns out, The Pokemon Brothers were in cahoots with Jessie, James and Meowth of the Team Rocket trio, only because the TR trio promised them gold, but it turns out that the trio had lied to the Pokemon Brothers. Ash's Pikachu, Brock's Forretress, and Misty's Politoed all attacked the TR trio and the Pokemon Brothers sending the six of them blasting off into the sky. They then later appeared in Cerulean Blues of Pokémon Chronicles. They take advantage of Misty's inability to control her Gyarados, claiming that she is no longer eligible to be a gym leader because of this. They then have battle to decide who should be gym leader, but the brothers' refusal to fight fairly (Hitmonchan faking to drown and all three using their Tentacruel) gets them disqualified quickly. They then demand to be declared the winners by attacking Gyarados, and then Misty when she tries to stop them, but almost drowns as a result. At this point, Gyarados finally breaks out his cage, saves Misty, and sends the brothers flying with Hydro Pump. They received the capital punishment for all Pokemon trainers: They are banned from all official Pokemon league matches for life.
