During her time in the competition, she became well known for various "antics" including cussing at technicians and journalists, offending the Greek people, as well as insulting other artists. This "tantrum" eventually went viral, amassing over 1 million views on YouTube. Silvia was voted Iceland's sexiest woman in 2006 by a national radio station. Coincidentally, her real-life portrayer finished 4th in that same ranking.
