| - You will find this fictitious version of Madame Tussauds in HKO's London, located in the top left corner of the map. It is always open to the public and you can find Kiichan inside; while outside at the entrance Fifi is waiting for someone. Yes, both of them will have some quests for you to do. The real "Madame Tussauds" is a wax museum in London with branches in 10 major cities, founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud who was born in Strassbourg (France) as Anna Maria Grosholtz (1761–1850). Her mother was a housekeeper for Dr. Philippe Curtius in Bern, Switzerland. He was a physician skilled in wax modelling and taught Grosholtz the art of wax modelling. In 1765, Tussaud made a wax-work of Marie-Jeanne du Barry, Louis XV's mistress. After that she modelled many prominent people, even victims of the french revolution. The first exhibition of Tussaud's wax-works was shown in 1770, and attracted a large audience. When Dr. Curtius died, she inherited his collection of wax models. In 1795 she married François Tussaud and became Anna Maria Tussaud. This lead to the name "Madame Tussauds" of the show she "toured" with. Tussaud went to London in 1802 but could not return to France because of the war between France and Great Britain. She then settled down in Baker Street, London, and opened a museum in 1835. One of the main attractions was her "Chamber of Horrors", only one of the many "zones" that were exhibited in "Madame Tussauds" until today. There are still new wax figures added to the collection every year, also lots of famous modern actors and singers, as well as political figures. It is too sad that a fire and war bombing damaged most of the 400 old original models. Only the casts have survived. Tussaud made a self portrait in 1842 and died on April 15th in 1850. Right now a company owns the museum.
