Spaceland is an alternative rock/indie rock nightclub in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Formerly a gay disco called Dreams, it recently celebrated its tenth anniversary as a rock venue. Gentrification has brought a host of problems with the neighbors, many of whom now are upscale professionals. Ironically, the club's presence helped make the neighborhood more attractive in the first place according to many.
