abstract	The Seventh Fleet was one of the nine main interstellar battlegroups which made up the navy of the Galactic Alliance government during the Second Galactic Civil War in 40 ABY. The Seventh Fleet was one of the two Hapan fleets, along with the Eighth Fleet, incorporated into the Galactic Alliance Navy. It was present at the Battle of Kuat, in which it was intended to strike the Confederation Fleet from the flank. The Seventh and Eighth Fleets finally defected from the Galactic Alliance when the Hapes Consortium joined the Jedi Coalition. Both fleets then fought at the Second Battle of Roche along with the Alliance-in-exile, the Maw Irregular Fleet and the Confederation fleets while the Hapan Home Fleet remained in the Hapes Cluster.
