Lambeosaurinae is one of the major subfamilies within Hadrosauridae, the other being Saurolophinae. Lambeosaurines are the 'hollow-crested duckbills', possessing hollow head crests that may have been used to produce species-unique sounds. Several tribes (very closely related genera) include Parasaurolophini, Lambeosaurini (sometimes Corythosaurini), and perhaps one containing Tsintaosaurus and its relatives. As ornithopods, lambeosaurines are Grass Dinosaurs.
