| - Chenthar was a Wookiee Jedi trained primarily as a Jedi Deep Space Explorer. However, Chenthar's immense physical strength allowed him to also put some time into training as a Force Warrior, learning how to fight unarmed or with simple and primitive weapons. He also learned how to enhance the attributes of such weapons through the use of the talent Force Weapon. As a Jedi Knight Chenthar joined the Exploration Corps as a supporting trainer for the younglings who served with the ExplorCorps, and over time took on more and more challenging exploration missions, venturing frequently into Wild Space and the Unknown Regions, as well as making a handful of forays into the dwarf galaxies that orbited the main galaxy. His array of adventures over a long lifetime allowed him to gain a working knowledge of a wide range of skills that he found useful for exploration purposes, such as the ability to comprehend speech, navigate hyperspace easily and instinctively and to talk to and befriend animals. From his training as a Force Warrior, Chenthar also had a high level of control over his own body, able to amplify his speed, strength, reflexes and the like for impressive physical prowess. Chenthar served during the Galactic Clone Wars, mostly operating around Kashyyyk and other systems with jungle habitats, though he was also still called upon for explorative missions during his service in the war. Given his above-average size, even for a Wookiee, and his physical aptitude, Chenthar wielded a green lightclub in combat, his preferred form being that of Form V: Shien / Djem So. Near the end of the Clone Wars Chenthar was assigned to take the Jedi Artisan Khaic Saleev to Garos IV in order to acquire some hybridium for her latest artificing attempt. During their time on the planet the Clone Wars ended and the Grand Jedi Purge began, forcing them to flee with the newly-acquired hibridium. Using his skills at instinctual astrogation and smoothing out hyperspace routes, Chenthar took Khaic far into the Deep Core, where no regular ships could follow, and only the most determined of Force-users could reach, even assuming that Chenthar and Khaic would be able to be sensed from such distances. During the trip to Vulpter Chenthar destroyed his own lightclub as well as Saleev's lightsaber, coming to rely on his long and solid staff for combat if needed. Once Saleev completed her final work, the Saleev Bracer, an artifact that could hide Chenthar's presence in the Force completely, his number of trips offworld increased dramatically as he set about on personal missions of varying sorts. After the death of Khaic in 14 BBY Chenthar departed from Vulpter, instead setting off on a journey of learning, to assist the many new rebel groups as best he could, and hopefully to find some trace of the Jedi Order still remaining in the Galaxy after Palpatine's genocide of the Jedi. Eventually Chenthar met his end in 2 BBY, when he was slain by the Emperor's Hand Mara Jade, who had successfully managed to track him down after many years of Imperial Intelligence hunting for him. Though Chenthar's skill in the Force and physical combat skills were more than capable of handling the young Hand's new skills, he received a rare flash of intuition, recognizing her as an important turning point in the future of the Galactic Civil War. Knowing that she would not let him escape, he instead informed her that she would hold a pivotal place in the destiny of the Galaxy, and let her shoot him down, leaving his apprentice to carry out his work.
